Welcome to SolarXLab. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your purchase of solar panels and related products. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms under which returns and refunds are accepted.

2. Refund and Returns Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • The return request must be made within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order number) must be provided.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Items that have been installed or used

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our Customer Service team at info@solarxlab.co.nz with your order number and details of the product you wish to return.
  2. Our team will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
  4. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  5. Ship the item to the following address: 24 Harore Road, Takanini, Auckland, 2112 , New Zealand

Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact our Customer Service team at info@solarxlab.co.nz.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 24 Harore Road, Takanini, Auckland, 2112 , New Zealand

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within 14 days for a full refund, store credit, or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy. 


All returns must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. 


To return an item, please email customer service at info@solarxlab.co.nz to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving a RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging and the return form provided. 

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return. 


After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least three (3) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
